Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 18, 2026
This policy explains, in plain English, what information IEPful uses and how the current version of the product is designed. It is written for the product as it works today and will be updated as IEPful changes.
What IEPful is
IEPful is an educational tool that helps parents in the United States organize and prepare for IEP meetings. It turns your answers into priorities, suggested questions, a preparation checklist, note space, and a printable meeting pack.
IEPful is not a law firm, advocacy service, medical provider, or professional educational consultant, and it does not provide individualized professional advice. See our educational disclaimer.
Information the planner uses
While building a meeting plan, you may enter information such as:
- the type of meeting you are preparing for
- a general grade range
- the topics you want to discuss
- an optional meeting date
- a short description of your main concern
- the meeting questions you select
- notes you take during the meeting
- decisions and follow-up items you record
While you are using IEPful as a guest, your working meeting plan is kept in your browser and is not intentionally stored in IEPful's backend. If you sign in and choose to save a free plan, or if you purchase a Complete Meeting Pack, the plan information described above is stored in your IEPful account so you can return to it later.
Because your browser saves guest information on your device, your plan may still be there when you come back later — and it may be visible to anyone else who uses that device and browser profile.
Sensitive information
Please enter only what you need in order to use the tool. IEPful works well with general descriptions, so there is no reason to include identifying details.
We ask you not to enter:
- your child's full name
- the name of the school or district
- your home address
- Social Security numbers
- student ID numbers
- detailed medical or diagnostic records
- copies of IEPs, evaluations, or other school records
- any other highly sensitive personally identifying information
There is no document upload in IEPful, and there is no need to paste record contents into the planner.
Payment information
Payments for the Complete Meeting Pack are processed by Stripe. IEPful does not store full payment-card numbers.
Stripe may process the information necessary to complete your transaction, such as card details, billing information, and an email address you provide at checkout. Stripe handles that information under its own privacy practices.
Purchase records
So that a purchase can be verified and unlocked, IEPful may keep a minimal transaction record containing:
- a purchase identifier
- payment status
- purchase amount and currency
- transaction and checkout session identifiers
- the date and time of the purchase
- the product purchased (IEPful Complete Meeting Pack)
Your meeting-plan contents — concerns, questions, notes, and tracker entries — are not intended to be included in these payment records.
Browser storage
IEPful uses your browser's local storage to keep your planner progress and meeting plan available on your device, including while you complete checkout.
Clearing your browser data, using private browsing, or switching devices may remove locally saved planner information. IEPful cannot recover a plan that your browser has cleared.
Guest use, accounts, and saved plans
You can build a free meeting plan as a guest, without creating an account. While you are working, your current plan may be kept temporarily in your browser's storage so you don't lose it if you refresh the page or sign in. This is temporary draft recovery — it is not a saved-plan feature, and it is not a long-term storage promise.
A guest plan is not stored on IEPful's servers. Planner information reaches our backend only if you create or sign in to an account and choose to save a plan, or if you purchase a Complete Meeting Pack.
If you create an account, we store your email address so we can send you a one-time sign-in link. There is no password.
Saved free plans. A free plan is stored in your account only after you choose “Save This Plan.” Saving stores the answers you selected, the questions you chose, your meeting notes, your checklist ticks, and your decision tracker entries, along with an optional profile label you create for each child. Use a first name, nickname, or any label you prefer — a full legal name is not needed.
Purchased plans. Purchasing requires a free account. A purchased meeting plan is saved automatically to that account so you can return to the product you paid for and open it on another device. Purchased planner content is therefore stored in our backend, not only in your browser.
Saved and purchased plans are readable only by your own account. You can delete an individual plan, a profile, or your entire account at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account removes your saved profiles and all saved and purchased plan content; records of a purchase are kept for accounting purposes and are no longer linked to you.
Third-party services
IEPful uses:
- Stripe — payment processing for the Complete Meeting Pack
- Supabase — account and backend infrastructure used for authentication, Student Profiles, saved meeting plans, and purchase records
- Lovable — application development and hosting infrastructure
- Google Analytics — website usage and conversion/funnel measurement
- Google Ads — advertising attribution and conversion measurement
These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy practices. This list will be updated if IEPful adds other services.
Analytics and advertising
IEPful uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site and to measure steps in the meeting-planning and purchase funnel. IEPful may also use Google Ads measurement to understand whether advertising leads to visits or purchases.
Our analytics implementation is designed to avoid sending planner contents or identifying child information to Google. We do not intentionally send child or profile names, school names, concerns, meeting notes, planner answers, medical or diagnostic information, account email addresses, or other free-text planner content through our analytics events.
Analytics events may include limited non-identifying information such as page URLs and titles, whether certain product steps occurred, the general meeting type, the number of selected topics, purchase value and currency, and an opaque transaction identifier used to prevent duplicate purchase measurement.
Standard web analytics can also involve technical information, browser or device information, referral or campaign information, approximate location, and cookies or similar identifiers.
The site's Google Analytics configuration disables Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals. We do not use Google User-ID or hash account email addresses for analytics.
Reviews you choose to submit
Leaving a review is entirely optional. If you do, we collect the star rating you choose and, only if you fill them in, a display name (such as a first name or initials), a U.S. state, and a short written comment. Nothing about your child, their school or district, a diagnosis, or an IEP is requested, and we ask you not to include it.
A review is published on this website only if you explicitly check the consent box. That box is never pre-checked. Every review is read by a person before it can appear publicly, and nothing is published automatically. If you submit without consenting to publication, your feedback is kept private to IEPful. We do not remove or hide a review because it is critical.
If you were signed in, the review is linked to your account, and a review tied to a purchased Complete Meeting Pack may be labeled as verified based on our own purchase records. To limit spam we store a short, salted one-way code derived from your network address and the date rather than your address itself, and we delete those codes after about 30 days. Published reviews show only the rating, comment, display name, state, verified label, and date.
Children's privacy
IEPful is designed for parents and other adults preparing for meetings. It is not designed for children to use on their own, and an account is only needed to save or purchase a meeting plan.
The product is built around data minimization: we ask you not to enter identifying information about your child, and nothing you type reaches our backend unless you choose to save a plan to your account or purchase a meeting pack.
We do not make compliance certifications about children's privacy laws. If you believe information about a child was submitted to us, please contact us so we can look into it.
Data retention
Guest planner contents stored locally remain on your device until your browser storage is cleared or you reset the planner.
Student Profiles and meeting plans explicitly saved to your IEPful account — including automatically saved purchased Complete Meeting Packs — remain in that account until you delete the applicable content or delete your account.
When you delete your account, IEPful removes your saved Student Profiles and saved/purchased meeting-plan content.
Purchase transaction records may be retained for ordinary accounting, fraud-prevention, legal, and business purposes. The account linkage is removed as implemented today, and those retained purchase records do not contain your meeting-plan contents.
Your choices
- Start over: use the planner's start-over option to clear your current plan and answers.
- Clear browser data: use your browser's settings to remove locally stored site data.
- Ask a question: contact us if you have a privacy question about the product.
Email us at support@iepful.com. Please don't include documents or sensitive information about your child in your message.
Changes to this policy
As IEPful develops, this policy may change. When it does, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be described in plain language so you can see what is different.
